For those that have an appreciation of music, I highly recommend a Michael Bolton concert. Bolton appeared in concert at the First Council Casino in Newkirk, Oklahoma on Sept. 24. Genres including, jazz, rock, opera, and blues were performed. Bolton performed hits from his new compact disc, «Gems The Duets Collection,» and his classics such as «Time Love and Tenderness» and of course «How Can We Be Lovers» which brought the crowd to their feet. Early in the performance, Bolton performed «How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,» a song he cowrote. It was originally recorded by Laura Branigan in 1983. Bolton also paid tribute to Luciano Pavarotti, who passed away in 2007. Saxophonist Michael Lington, who hails from Denmark, was on stage with Bolton for the evening.

Lington performed his hit «You and I» from his album titled Heat. Bolton also performed a couple duets for the first time with a lady, who I did not get the name of. It sounded like Lebette. I apologize, but the two were very good together. At one point during the show, Bolton took a break and left the band in charge. After a brief tune or two, fans could hear Bolton singing but did not realize immediately that he had reappeared in the middle of the crowd.

Non-VIP ticket holders were thrilled to get an even closer look at the now 58-year-old Bolton as he made his way back to the stage singing.
